Therefore, it comes a concern with the well-being and comfort of these companions. Conversely, animal abandonment is an issue that has also been increasing over the years, resulting in the overload of shelters and their caretakers that strive to save these animal's lives. Hence, overcrowding in these shelters becomes inevitable, creating challenges in ensuring the proper care and well-being of rescued animals. Given this context, the goal of the present paper is to provide a practical solution for people who care for animals, aiming to provide comfort, at the same time as it optimizes the space of its caretaker. In addition, it is a sustainable alternative that uses reforested wood and textile waste in its structure. To this end,bibliographical research was carried out to analyze the parameters of animals, both adopted and abandoned, in Brazil; and their needs to ensure their comfort and well-being; evaluate existing products in the pet market, and explore alternatives of sustainable materials. Furthermore, interviews were conducted with the protectors and animal guardians, along with a field survey that was conducted to gather data that helped validate the project idea and identify its actual needs. Finally, the product proposal developed was a safe modular furniture project for stacking, with the goal to optimize the space of its guardians/protectors. Using recycled materials to reduce its impact on the environment and seeking ways to make it as accessible as possible. Os animais domésticos estão cada vez mais presentes no cotidiano de famílias brasileiras. Com isso vem a preocupação pelo bem-estar e conforto desses companheiros. Por outro lado, o abandono de animais é um problema que também tem aumentado ao longo dos anos, resultando na sobrecarga de abrigos e protetores que se esforçam para salvar a vida desses animais. Consequentemente, a superlotação dos abrigos se torna inevitável, criando desafios para garantir o cuidado e o bem-estar adequado dos animais resgatados. Diante desse cenário, o presente projeto tem como objetivo apresentar uma solução prática para pessoas que cuidam de animais, procurando proporcionar conforto, ao mesmo tempo que otimiza o espaço do seu cuidador. Além de ser uma alternativa sustentável utilizando madeira reflorestada e resíduos têxteis em sua estrutura. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica com o intuito de analisar o parâmetro de animais, adotados e abandonados, no Brasil; suas necessidades para garantir seu conforto e bem-estar; avaliar produtos já existentes no mercado pet e explorar alternativas de materiais sustentáveis. Além disso, foram realizadas entrevistas com os protetores e tutores, bem como levantamento de campo para coletar dados que validem a ideia do projeto e identificar suas reais necessidades. Por fim, a proposta de produto desenvolvida foi um projeto de mobiliário modular seguro para empilhamento, com o objetivo de otimizar o espaço de seus tutores/protetores.
