A large number of researchers has focused its efforts on identifying soil properties that are more efficient in inferring soil quality due to soil changing as result from use and management. The aim presented in this study was to evaluate the soil quality by chemical properties, soil microbiological and biochemical in an area with waterlogged rice cultivation under different years of cropping. The areas have the following rice cultivation times (1, 3, 8, 13 and 25 years) compared to a nature area (reference). Composite samples with four replications were collected at 0-10 cm depth. They were separated into two sub-samples, one for chemical analysis and one for microbiological and biochemical analysis, which were stored under cooling. In the laboratory the chemical attributes evaluated were: soil organic carbon (SOC), total nitrogen (TN), P available, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ exchanges, Al3++H+ exchanges and pH, and calculated the CEC, and C/N ratio. The microbiological attributes were: microbial biomass carbon (MBC), microbial respiration (MR), calculated the CO2 coefficient (qCO2) and microbial coefficient (qMIC). The enzymes activities of acid phosphatase and urease were evaluated. The different years of rice cultivation were significantly different from the nature area in most of the soil indicators assessed, with higher expressivity, especially to SOC, NT, P, CBM and acid phosphatase variables. In the principal component analysis was observed the formation of two main groups of components (CP). SOC, C-BMS and NT were the main variables of the CP1, the acid phosphatase indicators, Mg2+ and P were the variables of greater expressiveness in CP2. The abrupt shift in soil quality from nature area converted to rice cultivation decreased the soil quality, but after 8 years of rice cropping the soil presented an improvement in soil quality. A busca por uma agricultura sustentável, tem promovido o desenvolvimento de pesquisas na área de solo que visam compreender o comportamento que o mesmo apresenta em relação aos diferentes manejos e culturas. Um grande número de pesquisadores tem focado seus esforços na identificação de atributos do solo que sejam mais eficientes em inferir a qualidade do solo em função das alterações que venham a ocorrer. Objetivou-se com o presente estudo avaliar a qualidade do solo por meio de atributos químicos, físicos, microbiológicos e bioquímicos do solo, em área com diferentes tempos de cultivo de arroz. A pesquisa foi realizada em cinco áreas de diferentes anos de cultivo de arroz (1º, 3º, 8º, 13º e 25º) comparadas a uma área de vegetação nativa. Foram feitas coletas de solo na profundidade de 0-10 cm, sendo separadas em duas subamostras, uma para análise química e outra para microbiológica e bioquímicas as quais foram armazenadas sobre refrigeração. Em laboratório foram avaliados os atributos físicos (textura e densidade do solo) e os químicos: carbono orgânico do solo (COS), nitrogênio total (NT), P, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3++ H+ e pH, foram calculados a CTC e a relação C/N. Os atributos microbiológicos avaliados foram: carbono da biomassa microbiana do solo (C-BMS), respiração microbiana do solo (RBS), coeficiente metabólico (qCO2) e coeficiente microbiano (qMIC). Avaliou-se também as atividades das enzimas fosfatase ácida e urease. Os diferentes anos de cultivo de arroz diferiram significativamente da área de vegetação nativa na maioria dos indicadores avaliados, apresentando maior expressividade, principalmente, nas variáveis COS, NT, P, C-BMS e fosfatase ácida. Na análise de componentes principais foi observado a formação de dois grupos de componentes principais (CP). O COS, C-BMS, NT foram as principais variáveis da CP1, os indicadores fosfatase ácida, Mg2+ e P foram as variáveis de maior expressividade na CP2. O solo é inicialmente alterado de forma abrupta com a conversão de vegetação nativa para cultivo de arroz, no entanto, após oito anos de cultivo, o solo apresentou uma recuperação quanto aos teores de carbono, níveis de P e atividade da fosfatase ácida. 2019-07-26T16:41:38Z 2019-07-26T16:41:38Z 2016-04-29 Dissertação EVALD, Ariane.
