Violence against women has national and international statistics alarming. In the region of dry border Brazil Venezuela, specifically in border municipalities Pacaraima (Brazil) and Gran Sabana / Santa Elena de Uairen (Venezuela), this reality presents nuances differentiated by border regional issues. In this study, through a survey of bibliographic data contained in official documents, newspaper articles, official websites, political speeches and on-site visits, described the historical path to the recognition of human rights of women, integrating these achievements to the question of its promotion and protection through the description and analysis of legislative adjustments undertaken, public policies implemented and binational cooperation Brazil and Venezuela for the establishment of the network of prevention and combating violence against women at the border. It emphasizes the importance of the work on the continuing need for (re) knowledge and (re) affirmation of the human rights of women. As a result there is the description, mapping and evaluation of public policies implemented in the creation of binational coping network to guarantee the rights of women in Brazil's border with Venezuela.
