The adsorption process is an alternative threatment methods utilized to remotion heavy metals of industrial effluent. In this work, it was studied the adsorption process of the nickel, copper and lead ions in aqueous solution, with the following substrates: montmorrillonite pure and natural. In the adsorption process, considering the best results, the following yield were obtained to montmorrillonite pure: nickel (84,11%), lead (71,75%) and copper (70,42%). And with the montmorrillonite natural: nickel (76,21%), lead (67,47%) and copper (79,44%). The Lagmuir isotherm was the best representation of the experimental dates , and according to this model, it was possible to observe a selectivity order in function of the adsorption capacity, in the following manner, with the montmorrillonite pure: nickel > lead > copper; and with the montmorrillonite natural: copper > nickel > lead. This work denotes that the substrates studied presents good efficiency to remotion the nickel, copper and lead ions in aqueous solutions, that determine a good capacity of adsorption. |
