Facing the exodus of returnees, the Honduran government through the foreign affairs secretariat decides to adopt the Law on the protection of Honduran migrants and their families as a measure to resolve the exodus of migrants. In order to understand better the policies for the protection of migrants and Honduran returnees, a qualitative methodology is applied to analyze the data provided by the Honduras Consular Observatory and international agencies. In addition, other sources were consulted to define some concepts which are presented in this research. With this research on protection policies, it was stated the type of assistance that Honduran returnees receive and that helps solve part of the problems of those who return. Esta pesquisa apresenta uma analise sobre a política de proteção ao migrante e migrante retornado Hondurenho, especificamente, os migrantes retornados entre os anos de 2017 e 2019, dos Estados Unidos e do México. Anos em que os movimentos migratórios tiveram um aumento. Frente ao êxodo dos retornados, o Governo de Honduras, por meio da Secretaria de Relações Exteriores, decide aprovar a Lei de Proteção dos Hondurenhos Migrantes e seus Familiares, como medida de solução ao êxodo de migrantes. Para entender melhor as políticas de proteção ao migrante e retornado hondurenho, utilizou-se o método qualitativo, com o objetivo de analisar os dados fornecidos pelo Observatório Consular de Honduras e de agências internacionais. Além disso, foram consultadas outras fontes para definir alguns conceitos que se apresentam nesta pesquisa. Com esta pesquisa sobre políticas de proteção, afirmou-se o tipo de auxílio que recebem os retornados hondurenhos, que ajuda a resolver parte dos problemas de quem retorna.
