Resumo:
This work is part of the research entitled "Re-territorialization of paraenses in Boa Vista/RR", developed with ppgsof/ufrr, with the theme of the migration of paraenses men and women to Boa Vista, capital of the state of Roraima. It addresses the displacement of paraenses to the city, the survival strategies triggered in the good-vistense space and how the de-territorialization of these migrants proceeds. Roraima has historically been a place of attraction for both national and international migrants. Most choose to live in its capital, which encourages us to study the diversity of cultures, identities and territories observed in it. In this sense, Salim (1992) argues that the numerous ways of migrating end up organizing the political and social space of the place of destination, pointing to an exchange of cultural burden between the migrant population and the local population. In the last censuses the presence of paraense in Boa Vista has been expressive, which leads us to consider the formation of new territorialities and new forms of use and dominance of the territory by this group. We will use in the interviews a script with more open and flexible questions, emphasizing aspects such as space and daily life experienced in places of origin and destination; the migration process; questions about their territorialities, which give up reflections about the migratory experience of the interviewees and the understanding of the process of re-territorialization in the new space.
