We present a checklist for the ferns and lycophytes from the Amazônia National Park. The Amazônia National Park, located In: the state of Pará, is one of the largest In: the Amazon Basin and comprises the main vegetation types that are found on the lowlands. This study is based on field trips carried out by us In: the years of 2015 and 2016. A complete set of specimens is housed at INPA, and duplicates, when available, were sent to UPCB and HSTM. Eighty-four species were recorded, of which 4 are new occurrences for Pará state (Selaginella cabrerensis Hieron., Selaginella producta Baker, Danaea leprieurii Kunze e Microgramma tecta var. nana (Liebm.) Mickel & Beitel). The richest families are Pteridaceae E.D.M.Kirchn. (19 spp.), Polypodiaceae J.Presl & C.Presl (12 spp.), Hymenophyllaceae Gaudich. (8 spp.), Aspleniaceae Newman (5 spp.), and Selaginellaceae Willk. (6 spp.). The generic Adiantum L. is the richest with 13 species, followed by Microgramma C.Presl and Selaginella P.Beauv. (6 spp. each), and Asplenium L. and Trichomanes (5 spp. each). Most of the species are terrestrial In: terra-firme environments. We present a list of all species, identification keys to the families, genera and species, list of specimens examined, comments and illustrations.
