Resumo:
Measurements of the evaporation of rainfall intercepted by Amazonian rain forest were compared with estimates made by two models, the Rutter model and Gash's analytical model, applied to meteorological measurements made with automatic weather stations mounted above the forest. Neither of the model estimates of interception loss was significantly different from measured interception loss, which amounted to 8.9% of the measured rainfall. © 1988.
