Resumo:
The beef cattle production is considered one of the major deforestation causes in the Amazon biome, since in the grasslands implantation still adopts traditional methods that lead to degradation and further deforestation. Integrated systems of agriculture and livestock have been proposed as a way to establish a more sustainable production system, enabling the maintenance of livestock in areas already consolidated and reducing deforestation. The project objective was to evaluate the productivity of forage crops (millet, sorghum and Brachiaria) in agropastoral systems on Amazonian dry land conditions. Evaluations were made in plots of 25m2 (5 x 5) of two cultivars of millet (ADR 300 and ADR 500), two sorghum (BRS 810 and BRS 802) and a braquiária (Marandu), seeded in no-tillage and conventional tillage, arranged in randomized block desing with four replications, were implanted in agriculture livestock system integration, after the harvest of the corn crop. The experimental period lasted from April to October 2015. Chemical and physical parameters related to the soil were evaluated. Among the forages Marandu showed higher dry matter yield. The participation of forage morphological constituents in the total mass was similar in both systems. The proline accumulation over the three periods of cutting did not differ into the systems, however among species Marandu had higher accumulation. It therefore concludes that the forage Marandu is a cropping alternative in agriculture livestock integration systems in drought times.
