Due to the lack of bibliographies in Portuguese that approach the subject and even bibliographies that approach a complete methodology for the design of a vehicle steering system, a study and creation of a practical methodology and simple understanding is necessary. The objective of this work is to create an effective methodology for the creation of a vehicle steering system for Baja SAE Brasil competition and its validation through computational simulations to measuree the results to compare with what was proposed. In order to reach this objective, a sequence of activities was defined to optimize the time of parameter definition, modeling and simulation to define in a clear and concise way the processes to obtain an efficient steering geometry. It was obtained as a result that the methodology created was efficient and effective corresponding to what was proposed in the scope of the project and responding well to the simulations referring to situations presented in the Baja SAE Brasil competition. |
