Ele pertence à segunda geração de imigrantes no país e muitos de seus poemas, escritos em alemão, abordam o conflito que surge do processo de construção de identidade entre duas culturas. Assim, este artigo tem como objetivo discutir alguns de seus poemas, focando na língua como substância de enunciação e o espaço como lugar de fala, no contexto da construção de identidade. Para compreender a dinâmica de formação de sentido será adotada a teoria de posicionamento dialógico de Hermanns (2001).
