Resumo:
This work aimed to analyze the perception of the administrative technicians public servants of a public federal university in relation to the levels of satisfaction and dissatisfaction in their work environment based on three intervenient factors: Satisfaction Regarding Hierarchical Relations (SRH), Satisfaction regarding Physical Work Environment (SAFT) and Intrinsic Satisfaction at Work (SIT). The hypothesis proposed was that the intrinsic factor promotes a greater dissatisfaction degree on the administrative technicians of the university when faced with the other factors. The results of the research refuted such proposal. The sample was represented by 449 public servants allocated in a proportional distribution by Campus and Rectory. Two instruments were applied for data gathering: one survey for sociodemographic and professional data and other for evaluation of satisfaction at work, the S20/23, validated by Câmara and Carlotto (2008). Correlations and associations were done among collected data to identify factors that influence on satisfaction at work. The results show a moderate satisfaction of the public servants regarding the satisfaction at work factors: Satisfaction regarding the Physical Work Environment (general average 3,64); Intrinsic Satisfaction at Work (general average 3,38) and Satisfaction regarding Hierarchical Relations (3,35). The diagnoses presented by this research will be able to contribute to the construction of a Quality of Life at Work Program at the institution.
