Resumo:
This dissertation is the result of a two - year research on the constituent elements of corporeality and communication of Dona Romana de Natividade - TO. Making use of ethnography andCartography as the main research methodology. The work has as general objective to investigate the corporal formation, performative and the cosmological elements constructed and communicated by Romana de Natividade. This research took place mainly in the festivals and rituals that took place in 2017 and 2018 in Bom Jesus de Nazaré, interviewing Dona Romana as well as people from her community and other researchers. It was possible to perceive that Dona Romana is par excellence a bricouler, character that adds in itself several elements to compose its cosmology and spirituality. Romana follows the principle of the chimera that says that the individual joins in several components without causing conflict to him that allows him to create his own image, in this way, Romana establishes stages of communication that go from beings and tangible objects as intangibles. This case study highlights the memory and mythopoetics of this woman, who became a reference in the State of Tocantins due to her art, community, spirituality, body and prophecies of a future that is already being established.
