It presents a reflection on the importance of the Kalunga community and its culture and traditions for people and even society. It aims to highlight the cultural richness of the Vão do Moleque community, exposing culture as the greater good that the community has, so that it can be expressed in countless ways through education and respect. O presente trabalho tem o intuito de evidenciar a cultura da Comunidade Kalunga do Vão do Moleque, situado no município de Cavalcante, Estado de Goiás. No decorrer do trabalho definimos termos como cultura e tradição Kalunga, trazendo autores como: Brandão (2002), Baiocchi (1999), Domando (2019), Farias (2005), Laraia (2009), Oliveira (2010), Santos (2003), Tardin (2012). A pesquisa teve o objetivo de destacar a riqueza cultural da comunidade Vão do Moleque, expor a cultura como o bem maior que a comunidade tem, de forma que a mesma possa ser expressa de inúmeras formas como elemento importante de afirmação.
