This final work is a study about the importance of electrical testing in the power transformer. Aiming at all, content establish targeted paths related to the analysis of parameters related to electrical losses in the transformer. For which losses are able to be found, it is necessary to understand his key component, the power transformer, which together has a set of functions and mechanisms, that work in synchrony forming the whole body extremely complex in this equipment, the function that it will be discussed in the referential of this work, explaining clearly and objectively how it works every a part of it. Therefore, we arrive in the part of the work that treats of the focus this work that is the electrical testing, calculating their parameter and making the whole analysis and showing the result in the sequence; conjecturing both the positives and negatives of the manipulations. For beyond of the analysis of transformer’s parameter, it also presents simulations in this work in one of the transformers analyzed, showing the computational form of the behavior of the magnetization curve (INRUSH), and consequently emphasize the highlight question of clear and short about the transformer.
