Resumo:
Considering the current context of Brazilian public basic education, the present work deals with the theme of pleasure and suffering in the teaching work, investigates teachers in the classroom of a public school in the state of Tocantins, the main objective is to analyze the experiences of pleasure and suffering, using the Dejourian methodology, from the theoretical perspective of psychodynamic work, a study that approaches the subjective mobilization as a form of resignification of the experiences of suffering / illness at work. In order to carry out the research, the qualitative method was used with questionnaires applied in thirteen teachers from all disciplines of the unit and audio and individual interviews with two Portuguese teachers. It can be concluded that the experiences of pleasure are predominant and are linked to the feeling of accomplishment and professional vocation. Suffering / illness in the workers subjects appears in a moderate way and makes axis with the feelings of indignation and devaluation.
