Resumo:
The work was carried out during the compulsory supervised internship of the Agronomy course at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), Gurupi-TO campus. The activities followed were directed to the dissemination of soybean cultivars belonging to the company DON MARIO seeds. The present work was carried out through the implementation of 49 field trials in the 405 edaphoclimatic region that corresponds to the soybean areas of western Bahia. The diffused materials present superior phenotypic and genotypic characteristics than the other soybean cultivars disseminated in the studied region, such as the indeterminate growth habit, maturity group 7.3, 8.0 and 8.2, medium size with moderate lodging resistance, medium to low branching potential, medium to high fertility requirements, high PMG (above 180 g), resistance to certain diseases caused by fungi and bacteria, IPRO technology (Bt and RR proteins) and a high productive ceiling. The importance of this work is in the wide distribution of these cultivars subjected to the edaphoclimatic conditions of the region, thus enabling a strategic positioning due to the technical information generated.
