We seek to understand the changes in this institution, notably with respect to the gender issue, seeking to discuss how OAB has received and reacting to the woman lawyer conquests. We seek to understand how it is being demarcated the possibilities of changes in the gender relations in the composition of Permanent and Special Commissions / Existing Temporaries. Understanding gender that anchors the study is one that deviates from the male power naturalization and approaches of the differences between men and women as a process of social construction. Supported by gender and empowerment categories, research the websites of the OAB and e-SIC-Service Electronic System, we describe about the presence of the woman lawyers in the public and private space, still pointing the professionalization of attorney woman category. By analyzing the number of women lawyers in the conduct of the Order of the Committees in the country northern region, we observe that even with the large number of undergraduate trained women in courses in law and a lot of them entered the Order, they are minorities chairs of the commission, which refers to the difficulty of women in breaking with the male tradition in OAB. Na pesquisa analisamos as relações de gênero na Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil- OAB, na Região Norte do Brasil. Procuramos perceber as mudanças ocorridas nessa instituição, notadamente com relação à questão de gênero, buscando discutir como OAB tem recebido e reagido às conquistas da mulher advogada. Procuramos entender como está sendo demarcada as possibilidades de mudanças nas relações de gênero na composição das Comissões Permanentes e Especiais/Temporárias existentes. A compreensão de gênero que ancora o estudo é aquela que se desvia da naturalização do poder masculino e se aproxima das diferenças entre homem e mulher como um processo de construção social. Amparada em categorias de gênero e empoderamento, em pesquisas nos sites da OAB e do e-SIC- Sistema Eletrônico de Serviços versamos sobre a presença da mulher advogada no espaço público e privado, apontando ainda a profissionalização da categoria mulher advogada. Ao analisar a presença das mulheres advogadas na condução das Comissões da Ordem na Região Norte do País, percebemos que, mesmo com a grande quantidade de mulheres formadas nos cursos de graduação em Direito e com a grande quantidade delas inscritas na Ordem, elas são minorias nas presidências das comissões, o que remete à dificuldade das mulheres em romperem com a tradição masculina na OAB. 2016-04-28T17:45:08Z 2016-04-28T17:45:08Z 2016-03-04 Dissertação ALMEIDA, Evenise Ribeiro de.
