Applying a qualitative approach, bibliographic research and field work, the research was constructed through an interdisciplinary exercise. It, thus, uncovers the subject's pathways in the struggle for land and the confrontation of rural workers against Brazilian agrarian policies, which, capillarized by capital, contribute to the (re)production of social problems in the countryside. The Joncon/Três Irmãos settlement has been territorialized for over three decades, but the struggle for land has not ended only with the approval of the settlement project, as other struggles remain, such as better conditions for access to agricultural benefits. Mediators, such as the Pastoral Land Commission (CPT) and the Rural Workers and Workers Union (STRR), at Conceição do Araguaia played an important role, as they, applying partnerships, provided training for workers in the field, ranging from political notions to soil use for different types of cultivation. Migrants from several parts of the Brazilian territory, challenged by the discontinuity of a policy focused on private interests, did not give up implanting their longings aiming for the possession of a a territory for their family’s subsistence. Workers take their sustenance from the land, through agriculture (pineapple, rice and vegetables, among others), as well as through small chicken, pig and cow rearing activities. Land at the Joncon/Três Irmãos Settlement represents a long history of sacrifice for its workers, recalled through narratives (such as migration, obstacles in producing, an affectivity bond with the earth), revealing the reasons why they remain on this land, symbolizing an entire trajectory of life in the field. Este trabalho analisa a luta pela terra, os conflitos territoriais e as territorialidades no Assentamento Joncon/Três Irmãos, município de Conceição do Araguaia, sul do Pará, entre a segunda metade da década de 1980 ao ano de 2017. Com abordagem qualitativa, pesquisa bibliográfica e trabalho de campo, construiu-se uma pesquisa através de um exercício interdisciplinar. Assim, desvenda os percursos do sujeito na luta pela terra e o enfrentamento dos trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais frente a política agrária brasileira, que, capilarizado pelo capital contribui para (re) produção das mazelas sociais no campo. O assentamento Joncon/Três Irmãos está sendo territorializado, há mais de três décadas, porém a luta pela terra não encerrou somente com a aprovação do projeto de assentamento, mas outras lutas ainda permanecem, como melhores condições de acesso aos benefícios agrícolas. Mediadores, como: Comissão Pastoral da Terra (CPT), Sindicato dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras Rurais (STRR) de Conceição do Araguaia, tiveram um papel importante, pois em parcerias realizam formações para os trabalhadores no campo, que percorriam desde a noções políticas ao uso do solo para os diversos tipos de cultivo. Migrantes de diversas partes do território brasileiro e desafiados pela descontinuidade de uma política voltada para interesses particulares não desistiram de implantarem os seus anseios na realização de possuir um território, para a subsistência de suas famílias. Na terra os trabalhadores, retira o sustento através da agricultura (abacaxi, arroz, hortaliças, entre outros) bem como através de pequenas criações de galinhas, porcos e vacas. A terra para os trabalhadores do Assentamento Joncon /Três Irmãos representa toda uma longa história de sacrífico, que rememorada através das narrativas (como migração, entraves para produzir, vínculo de afetividade com a terra) revela os motivos pelos quais permanecem na terra, o que simbolizam toda uma trajetória de vida no campo. 2020-02-13T12:19:03Z 2020-02-13T12:19:03Z 2018-09-05 SANTOS, Cassyio Lima.
