This research was conducted to pinpoint the possibilities for the teaching of women
history according to the experience of the students in EJA. We were encouraged to think
about teaching methodologies, including the experience of such individuals. We used the
methodology of oral history in conducting interviews with ten selected students, applying a
dynamic in the classroom to raise the representations of the students about the feminine and
the masculine. Finally, we worked with the class to survey and analyze the female images in
the EJA textbook. The use of all these methodologies aimed to contribute to reflection on the
use of female image for the teaching of history and gender discussions in the educational
environment. The analyzes carried out point to the richness of the life experiences that are
discussed and analyzed in the classroom, together with the work with feminine images
contributes to the historical learning about the relations between men and women in the
present time. As a product, we present a didactic sequence that goes through the students' life
histories, using a strategy to stimulate them to show their representations of feminine and
masculine, conversational circles and analysis of the feminine images in the didactic book. |
