The present study dealt with the specific teacher training: analysis and propositions on the teaching activities in the prison establishments of the state of Tocantins. The main objective of this study was to analyze the relevance of a specific training for teachers working in the context of education in prisons in the state of Tocantins from the perception of the teachers themselves. In this sense, the research carried out was proposed to present a specific training proposal in order to be analyzed and implemented by the state of Tocantins to be developed To be developed with this category of teachers. The research was carried out from the qualiquantitative approach, developed with a group of 33 teachers, crowded in 10 schools in prisons of the state network located in 9 municipalities in the state of Tocantins, corresponding to 59% of the faculty of schools in existing prisons existing in this territory. Regarding the methodological procedure of the research, a questionnaire was applied with 20 questions regarding the object of study. For data analysis, Bardin contributions (2011) were used, regarding the content analysis. The investigation found that in the last 2 years (2017-
2018), 54.5% of the teachers surveyed said they did not participate in any activity professional development related to EJA education in prisons. And 73% of these, said they did not participate in specific training and/or other training before the beginning of the school year of 2019, with the objective of carrying out the class planning, according to the national and state guidelines of youth and Adult Education (EJA) for students in a situation of deprivation of liberty. The empirical research was concerned with seeking answers from teachers about their professional development needs that enable and qualify them to act in schools in prisons. Based on a structured questionnaire, with questions related to areas/contents related to education in prisons, it was possible to make a diagnosis of Needs pointed out by the teachers, with observance of the order of greatest need. In view of the data collected and analyzed presented the proposal of specific training within the expectations of the teachers surveyed, which will be protocolized by the SEDUC/TO. |
