The main objective is to verify an intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and a perception of performance influence the participation of the academic extracurricular activities of the management course of the Federal University of Tocantins, Campus Cimba, Araguaína-TO. A relevant factor for the academic formation that has been studied and developed throughout the research, showing that motivation is one of the crucial factors for the completion of the course. To reach the research objective, the participants answered a self-completion questionnaire, which were analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results show the positive effect of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and perceived performance on academics and the lack of integration with extracurricular activities, showing the need to be motivated positively and to be more integrated with extracurricular activities. |
