It will be of great importance to the preservation of the environment, it aims primarily to prevent solid waste from companies in general are deposited in nature disorganized way, causing the degradation. In view of this, this study aimed to understand the distribution process of reverse logistics of glass containers in the distributor Savanna - Araguaína -TO. This is a research with qualitative approach with bibliographic support, descriptive and exploratory nature. As a result, it was noted that the distributor is only a facilitator of the distribution channel and working with returnable bottles, indirectly contributing to sustainability. The company complies rigorously the legislation, however, it makes the reverse logistics process of the company to profit, not as a way of preventing the environment. A logística reversa trata-se da transposição de matérias, embalagens ou resíduos sólidos vindos dos consumidores finais ou pontos comerciais até chegar aos fabricantes. Faz-se de grande importância para a preservação do meio ambiente, pois visa primordialmente evitar que os resíduos sólidos das empresas em geral sejam depositados na natureza de maneira desorganizada, causando a degradação. Diante disto, este estudo teve o objetivo de compreender o processo de distribuição da logística reversa de embalagens de vidro na distribuidora Cerrado – Araguaína -TO. Trata-se uma pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa, com apoio bibliográfico, de cunho descritivo e exploratório. Como resultado, notou-se que a distribuidora é apenas uma facilitadora do canal de distribuição e que trabalha com garrafas retornáveis, contribuindo indiretamente com a sustentabilidade.
