This work aims at the detailed application of the electromagnetic analysis of a transformer through the Finite Element Mothed (FEM) through the FEMM software in order to produce a tutorial showing the step by step how to use the FEMM software. The FEM can be used in many areas due to its great applicability an efficiency. In this perspective, the present work should analyze, through the computational method, the behavior of the active part of the transformer, demonstrating the results of the magnetic flux density, the empty losses and winding losses. For that, all the steps to obtain the results will be presented in detail, from preprocessing, processing to postprocessing. Finally, all the results of the simulations will be shown. |
