The present work has as object of study the continuous formation in the Municipal Plans of
Education. The objective is to analyze the goals and strategies on continuing education,
considering its extent and possibilities of execution, as well as the evaluation of municipal
education managers on the implementation process. For the development of the research we
used bibliographic, documentary research and fieldwork with interviews. The documentary
analysis was carried out through the Municipal Education Plans - PMEs and Monitoring and
evaluation reports of the PMEs of Nazaré - TO, Tocantinópolis - TO and Santa Terezinha do
Tocantins - TO. The interviews were conducted with municipal education managers. The
research was based on authors such as Nóvoa (1991), Candau (1996), Paula (2009) and
Rodrigues (2004), also legal documents such as LDBs (Law No. 4,024 of December 20, 1961;
Law No. 5,692, of August 11 1971 and; Law No. 9,394, of December 20, 1996), the Brazilian
Federal Constitution of 1988, the PNE 2014-2024 (Law No. 13,005, of June 25, 2014) and
PMEs. That continuing education is significantly present in the PMEs studied and is cited as
an alternative for the insertion of various themes of daily school life, but it is very limited in
terms of its structure and local implementation and with little initiative of its own. There is
also a low percentage of participation in the initiatives already carried out. It is hoped that the
work can contribute towards helping to understand how educational development is
happening in the region, especially with regard to continuing education, analyzing how it is
treated in PMEs and how it is being worked on in practice. |
