It is well known that the development of digital technologies has caused significant changes in educational practices. They are increasingly present in daily school life and teachers need to qualify to deal with these tools, which can innovate in teaching and learning. The universe of research is composed of teachers and literacy teachers and the management team of the Palmas, Tocantins municipal education network, in a total of three school units and approximately 60 teachers. All were invited to participate in the research, but the adhesion was voluntary. Thus, the research had 39 participants. This is a qualitative research, which values the description and explanation of the investigated phenomena. Data collection was performed from online questionnaire and document analysis. The results showed that there is a need for structuring technological and digital resources in the researched schools, as well as evidencing the relevance of continuing education and / or training in the context of ICTs, for teachers, for the educational use of such technologies. Therefore, as a contribution of the present research, a plan for continuing teacher education was developed, appropriate to the context. O presente trabalho analisa as possibilidades de integração das TDIC ao Currículo das turmas de alfabetização, na perspectiva dos professores da rede pública municipal de Palmas, Tocantins, visando explicitar as necessidades de formação destes docentes alfabetizadores. É notório que o desenvolvimento das tecnologias digitais tem provocado mudanças significativas nas práticas educacionais. Cada vez mais estão presentes no cotidiano escolar e os professores precisam se qualificar para lidar com essas ferramentas, que podem inovar no ensino-aprendizagem. O universo da pesquisa compõe-se dos professores alfabetizadores e equipe diretiva da rede municipal de educação de Palmas, Tocantins, em um total de três unidades escolares e aproximadamente 60 professores. Todos foram convidados a participar da pesquisa, mas a adesão foi voluntária. Assim, a pesquisa contou com 39 participantes. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, que valoriza a descrição e a explicação dos fenômenos investigados. A coleta de dados foi realizada a partir questionário online e análise documental. Os resultados mostraram que há necessidade de estruturação dos recursos tecnológicos e digitais nas escolas pesquisadas, como também, evidenciou a relevância da formação continuada e/ou capacitação no contexto das TDIC, para os docentes, para o uso educacional de tais tecnologias.
