The present study is entitled “Perceptions about the importance of Physical Education classes in Early Childhood Education”. While the general objective we list: To analyze what would be the perception about Physical Education classes for Early Childhood Education through the eyes of the coordinators of the municipal school system from the city of Miracema –TO? .The research will be based on the authors studies as: Ariès (1981), Kuhlmann and Fernandes (2004), Martins (2004), Del Priore (2013), Souza (2007), LDB (1996), Basei (2008), Vygotsky, (1984 ), Freire (1997), Andrade Filho et al (2006), Education (2006), Sayão (2002), D'avila (2016), BNCC (2018), Rodrigues (2008), Nista-Picolo (2012), Kishimoto (2003) and Gallardo (2005). Methodologically, it is characterized as a bibliographic, field and descriptive study of a qualitative nature. The research sample consists of three coordinators of the municipal schoo system. For data collection we will carry out a questionnaire, containing three generating questions and to analyze the information acquired through the field research questionnaires, using the data analysis technique as the content analysis. Therefore, the results show that the coordinators understand that these demonstrate the importance of including this professional in this phase of education, but we must understand that early childhood education has its specificities, so it is necessary that professionals are qualified to work in this phase of education. In conclusion, Physical Education contributes directly to the cognitive, social, affective, and motor aspects of children, through its playful and creative practices that enable the little ones to construct their knowledge, allowing them to discover new experiences. |
