Resumo:
Street fair represent one of the oldest means of marketing agricultural products since antiquity. They work as a means of selling food, handicrafts, animals, exchanges and bargains that took place in a specific location in the cities and on a certain day of the week.Therefone, the objective of this work is to analyze, in the light of the Microeconomic Theory, the market relations of the open market in the District of Luzimangues in the city of Porto Nacional,Tocantins. This is an exploratory and descriptive study on market relations with empirical producers (marketers) who sell their products and consumers of the Luzimangues open market, using the theories and approaches of Economic Sciences, more precisely of Microeconomic Theory, law of supply and demand. The results showed how the market works and how marketers determine prices and maintain a relationship with consumers. It is noteworthy that there is a combination of prices, that is, there is a price list practiced at the fair. Marketers justify the price combination to make a profit and not harm the stall on the side that sells the same products, so everyone can win and stay in the market.
