This paper analyzes the location pattern of productive activities in the mi croregion of Porto Nacional - TO, in 2005 and 2015. It was used the regional analy sis method through the indicators of location, particularly, the Locational Quotient
(QL), the Hirschman Herfindahl concentration index (HHI), the geographic asso ciation coefficient (CAG) and the employment multiplier. The theoretical framework
was based in the concept of regional economy on the theory of location of the produc tive sectors. The results indicated that the QL of the 11 cities of the micro-region has
diversified economic base activities and that the branch of activity that most employs
is the public administration. Palmas presented the largest employment multiplier,
20.13 in 2005 and 16.02 in 2015, that is, the most representative of the microregion.
