Resumo:
This Course Conclusion Paper aims to reflect on the transformations in the world of work and its expressions within the Brazilian prison system and more specifically in the prison units of the North Region where they are in progress, management models with participation of the initiative toilet. In this context, interviews were used in the scope of the research "Diagnosis of Prison Services in Brazil" carried out by the GEPE-ASJ-UFT, in addition to a relevant review of the subject, data from the National Survey of Penitentiary Information (INFOPEN) on the privatization of prisons. Reflection is justified in view of the emergence of the precariousness of labor, which the neoliberal discourse and the process of productive restructuring of capital have imposed on the workers, considering that in the jail reaches even higher levels, since these servers act in a peculiar conjuncture, they border on institutionalized people whose degree of exclusion and stigma is magnified in proportion to the degradation to which they are subjected, so the complexity of working in prison units is singled out by the mass incarceration promoted by the Criminal State, which in general imprisons specific social , that is, an instrument of social control used by the establishment.
