The case study was divided into four different supplements, the control, based on macro and micro minerals - MM, and three more isoenergetic supplements, with variable protein content, 15% of CP, 25% of CP and 35% of CP. 36 non-castrated calves in breeding, with an initial weight of 231.69 kg, were used, and six animals were used per repetition. The case study was conducted from December 1st to February 24th. The animals that received mineral supplement and protein supplement with 35% of crude protein obtained greater weight gain, and consequently greater productivity by area, thus obtaining greater revenue in the period of 85 days. Supplementation with different levels of crude protein in the water period does not influence the daily weight gain of grazing animals. However, it is important to continue evaluations of carcass production to elucidate this result. O estudo de caso teve como objetivo medir o ganho de peso diário dos animais e a viabilidade econômica do sistema pasto-suplemento com diferentes níveis de proteína bruta. Foi dividido em quatro diferentes suplementos, sendo o testemunha, à base de macro e micro minerais - MM, e mais três suplementos isoenergéticos, com teor variável de proteína, 15% de PB, 25% de PB e 35% de PB. Foram utilizados 36 bezerros não castrados em recria, anelorados com peso inicial de 231,69 Kg, sendo utilizados seis animais por repetição. O estudo de caso foi conduzido de 01 de dezembro à 24 de fevereiro. Os animais que receberam suplemento mineral e suplemento proteico com 35% de proteína bruta obtiveram maior ganho de peso, e consequentemente maior produtividade por área, assim obtendo maior receita no período de 85 dias. A suplementação com diferentes níveis de proteína bruta no período das águas não influencia no ganho de peso diário dos animais em pastejo.
