At the present time, many researchers discuss the theme of children's education, in this way, this work presents a research about space and routine in Early Childhood Education at Tereza Hilário Ribeiro Municipal School in Tocantínia-TO/Brazil. The objective of the study was to know space and routine organization for Early Childhood Education at Municipal School Tereza Hilário Ribeiro, localized at Tocantínia-TO. As well as: Identify the legal aspects that guide the work of early childhood education in Brazil; discuss historical and legal aspects of child care and development; to describe how the space and routine of Early Childhood Education in the Tereza Hilário Ribeiro Municipal School in the Municipality of TocantíniaTO are organized. Space and routine are considered as an instrument of dynamization of learning, facilitators of children's perceptions, the routine when it is clear and understandable for children becomes a factor of safety and learning. The routine can guide the actions of children, as well as teachers, enabling the anticipation of situations that will happen. Thus for the accomplishment of this research were used like methodological procedures literature review, photos of the school and observation. To support the research, some authors were used BRASIL (1998); BRAZIL (1996); BRAZIL (2010); NOGUEIRA (2017); Piaget (1990); SPADA (2015); ZABALZA (1998), among others according to the references. Therefore, it is concluded that in order to think about children's education, it becomes fundamental to know and understand the lived reality in the pedagogical doing and being, integrating knowledge and forming participatory subjects capable of constructing their history. Therefore, there is a need to construct the School's Political Pedagogical Project in a collective, contextualized and meaningful way, discussing and building a curriculum that meets the demands of the children. Na contemporaneidade muitos pesquisadores discutem a temática educação infantil, dessa forma, este trabalho apresenta uma pesquisa sobre o espaço e a rotina na Educação Infantil da Escola Municipal Tereza Hilário Ribeiro, em Tocantínia-TO. O estudo teve como objetivo: conhecer a organização do espaço e rotina da Educação Infantil na Escola Municipal Tereza Hilário Ribeiro no Município de Tocantínia-TO. Bem como: Identificar os aspectos legais que norteiam o trabalho da educação infantil no Brasil; discutir os aspectos históricos e legais direcionados ao atendimento e desenvolvimento infantil; descrever como estão organizados o espaço e a rotina da Educação Infantil na Escola Municipal Tereza Hilário Ribeiro no Município de Tocantínia-TO. O espaço e a rotina são considerados como um instrumento de dinamização da aprendizagem, facilitadores das percepções infantis, a rotina quando é clara e compreensível para as crianças se torna um fator de segurança e aprendizagem. A rotina pode orientar as ações das crianças, assim como dos professores, possibilitando a antecipação das situações que irão acontecer. Assim, para a efetivação desta pesquisa foram utilizados como procedimentos metodológicos revisão de literatura, fotos da escola e observação. Para sustentação da pesquisa foram utilizados alguns autores como: BRASIL (1998); BRASIL (1996); BRASIL (2010); NOGUEIRA (2017); PIAGET (1990); SPADA (2015); ZABALZA (1998), dentre outros conforme as referências. Portanto, conclui-se que para pensar em educação infantil torna-se fundamental conhecer e entender a realidade vivenciada no fazer e no ser pedagógico, integrando saberes e formando sujeitos participativos capazes de construir sua história.
