Resumo:
The aim of this study is to reflect on the importance of planning and the need for routine understood as educational practices that should be present in the early childhood institution. Therefore this research has as its theme the planning and routine in early childhood education. We understand that this theme is very important, because we know the importance of the organization of the routine, as well as a well-planned planning for the teaching practice in these institutions. For the elaboration of the research it was used the methodology of bibliographical research and qualitative research, through case study, starting from the observation of the educational environment to the accomplishment of semi-structured questionnaires with teachers in a Maternal III class, in a public school in the city of Miracema / TO. After data collection, the analysis was followed. We used as important contributions on the theme the works of Dalmas (1994), Sant'anna et al (1988), Gandin (1983), Barbosa (2006), among others, which allowed us a greater understanding on the subject. After the bibliographic survey and field research, it was possible to reflect on planning and routine understood as essential elements for teaching practice and indispensable for the intellectual, social, cultural, political development, including the development of the child as a social subject producer. history and culture that interferes and resignifies the world in which it operates. Based on studies and theoretical references, this work provided an understanding of the importance of routine existence within the educational environment, especially in early childhood education, as a way to better improve teaching work and the process of teaching and learning of children.
