In the last ten years, mainly in the international environment, there has been a growing interest in the topic of environmental accounting, mainly in Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o crescimento voltado às publicações sobre o tema "Contabilidade Ambiental". Para tanto, foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica das pesquisas publicadas na base de dados Scopus entre 2009 e 2019. Para a análise dos dados são utilizados o software R e o pacote de software Bibliometrix. Dentre eles, o Rb tem um papel organizacional e indica as seguintes métricas: o número de artigos analisados, o número médio de citações por artigo, o número de autores, o número dos coautores e os mais influentes O autor de, as palavras-chave mais relevantes, as realizações científicas anuais sobre o tema, os países com maior participação, etc. Os resultados mostraram que 344 artigos publicados de 790 autores estavam relacionados a 187 fontes.
