Resumo:
The practice of cooperative principles is an inflection point for the cooperative organization model, whose objective is to provide service to the member. This research is a case study on the practice of cooperative principles. It starts with the over-understanding of these and how the cooperative, object of research, Sicoob Tocantins, is structured to develop them and thus contribute to meet the needs of its members. In effect, it consists of identifying the application of cooperative principles and verifying the practical reflexes of cooperative principles, which underlie the conduct of members, as well as the profile of the cooperative society. As well as to reflect the results of the status quo of application of the cooperative principles in the credit cooperative, comparing them with the study carried out by Bertuol in 2012. Finally, to describe the form of application of the cooperative principles in the cooperative. The methodology takes a qualitative approach and has explanatory and descriptive purposes. The instruments used comprise of semi-structured interviews directed to the directors and employees of the credit cooperative Sicoob Tocantins based in Paraíso do Tocantins. In addition, interviews with directors of the OCB/SESCOOP-TO System, in addition to the application of questionnaires, directed to members through convenience sampling. The results show that the cooperative Sicoob Tocantins practices the cooperative principles in a partial way, since the effective practice of the principles points to the need for reciprocity: cooperative and cooperative.
