Resumo:
The teaching proposal presented in this dissertation it refers to construction and implementation of two Potentially Significant Education Units (IUPS), proposed by Marco Antônio Moreira and based on the theory of David Ausubel focusing on some objects of knowledge of Physics in the field of electricity and following the curricular structure in the modality EJA (Youth and Adult Education). The IUPSs were applied in a third grade EJA class (3rd segment, 3rd period) with 35 students in the state network of Araguaína-TO. The main objective of the work it was to contribute to the pedagogical practice of the teacher, through these IUPs, in order to supply the lack of didactic material in the EJA modality and propose to the students practical activities, in which they could participate in the construction of knowledge their previous experiences and spontaneously awaken the investigative spirit to understand the phenomena of physics. We hope that this material can contribute significantly to both teaching practice and in the mean ingful learning of students.
