Resumo:
The research addresses a work whose theme agrarian reform in Tocantins: an analysis of struggle and conquest of the land from Paulo Freire I and II settlement in Rivers municipality of Bois-TO, fruit of the struggle of camp families Paulo Freire the movement of the Landless Rural Workers MST-mounted near the Highway Belem Brasilia BR-153 in Rio municipality of Bois-tO, between the city of Rio dos Bois and Miranorte-tO. The research developed in the settlement Paulo Freire I and II, it is based on a set of factors which eventually resulted in the achievement of the peasants landless. Among the factors highlight the actions political, ideological and economic of capitalist agriculture; social actions related state land reform policy; and organizational policy actions of the movement spearheaded by the peasants in the struggle for conquest and re-conquest of the land. In the state of Tocantins these actions and relations are presented through the major projects that articulate their deployments at strategic point in order to converge with capitalist relations and production of non-capitalist in the field, thus generating numerous conflicts in the field. In this context, I present the history of struggle of the settlement of peasants Paulo Freire I and II, its prospects and challenges. These peasants who historically are victims of the capitalist system that exploits, expropriates and excludes, demonstrated and demonstrate feeling resistance against the system under all when they make social challenges, manifested through the struggles and against social and economic policy structure that exploits, appropriates and expropriates the peasants. A structure that resists and fights against any change that threatens their interests. Given this political, social and economic framework, landless peasants realize that the alternative route is the fight. Process that helps to develop the class consciousness, consciousness awakening from conflicts caused by tensions and antagonism that demarcate the social identity of individuals and groups. A process that starts with the struggles in different actions, areas and territories (camps, settlements and demonstrations) emerge as an approximation, socialization, training and political integration of landless peasants. It shows that the time of participation in the struggles, the number of participants, the organicity levels of rooms and territories contribute to the subject and the community have a critical view and political reality.
