Resumo:
The aim of the dissertation is to propose an instrument for gathering information about mathematics teachers' perceptions about Creativity and Critical Thinking in Mathematics. It is an empirical-analytical, bibliographic and exploratory research. The items that make up the instrument were prepared based on theoretical formulations and empirical results on critical and creative thinking due to the Research and Investigations Group in Mathematics Education, linked to the University of Brasília. The elaboration of the items occurred under the principles of the Classic Test Theory. In addition, three examples of how the teacher can adapt issues of the National High School Exam (ENEM) are presented to stimulate the creativity and criticality in mathematics of high school students in this perspective. The built instrument can serve as a starting point for further work with a similar objective, to the development of learning expectations about critical and creative thinking in mathematics to guide teachers and students in the construction of such skills or as a state of the art of the Pi Group research the theme.
