Resumo:
This work aimed to present a mollusc fruit (gastropods) associated with aquatic macrophytes in a stretch of the Areias river in transition with the Luis Eduardo Magalhães reservoir, in the municipality of Porto Nacional-Tocantins. Collections were carried out at five sampling points in April, July and October 2016. The molluscs were collected in mixed aquatic macrophyte beds with the aid of 100 μm mesh kestrels with dimensions of 60 cm2. At the time of collection, pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature and depth were measured. Connection and air temperature data were provided by the National Institute of Meteorology. A total of 2841 molluscs associated with aquatic macrophytes belonging exclusively to a Gastropoda class were captured. The mollusc shape was formed and it was shown that a reservoir forms a balanced environment between macrophytes and aquatic macroinvertebrates and it can be seen that the pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, necessary and depth may have influenced the abundance of associated molluscs. And with this study we can have a better understanding of the ecological aspects and interactions between aquatic plants and invertebrate macrofauna in this reservoir.
