Collections were carried out at five sampling points in April, July and October 2016. The molluscs were collected in mixed aquatic macrophyte beds with the aid of 100 μm mesh kestrels with dimensions of 60 cm2. At the time of collection, pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature and depth were measured. Connection and air temperature data were provided by the National Institute of Meteorology. A total of 2841 molluscs associated with aquatic macrophytes belonging exclusively to a Gastropoda class were captured. The mollusc shape was formed and it was shown that a reservoir forms a balanced environment between macrophytes and aquatic macroinvertebrates and it can be seen that the pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, necessary and depth may have influenced the abundance of associated molluscs. And with this study we can have a better understanding of the ecological aspects and interactions between aquatic plants and invertebrate macrofauna in this reservoir. Este trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar a abundância de moluscos (gastrópodas) associados a macrófitas aquáticas em um trecho do rio Areias em transição com o reservatório Luis Eduardo Magalhães, no município de Porto Nacional-Tocantins. As coletas foram feitas em cinco pontos amostrais nos meses de abril, julho e outubro de 2016. Os moluscos foram coletados em bancos de macrófitas aquáticas mistos com o auxílio de peneirões com malha de 100 μm com dimensões de 60 cm2. No momento da coletada foram medidos o pH, o oxigênio dissolvido, a temperatura da água e a profundidade de. Os dados de precipitação e temperatura do ar foram fornecidos pelo Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia. Foram capturados um total de 2841 moluscos associados a macrófitas aquáticas pertencentes exclusivamente a classe Gastropoda. Foram analisados a abundância de moluscos e mostrou que um reservatório forma um ambiente equilibrado entre macrófitas e macroinvertebrados aquáticos e pode se notar que o pH, oxigênio dissolvido, temperatura da água, precipitação e profundidade pode ter influenciado na abundância dos moluscos associados.
