Fairy tales experienced in childhood help children in their overall development and stimulate the taste for reading, taking it to be consequently an adult reader. Thus, we should all be aware of the good that fairy tales are for children's development by allowing them to learn to deal with emotions and routine of everyday feelings. Thus, this paper aims to highlight the importance of fairy tales in the formation of readers, with a focus on literature and the proposed action on projects aimed at implementation of these in the classroom.
