Recognizing the importance of children's literature, especially fairy tales and encourage the
formation of the habit of reading in childhood, are key issues in this work, which emphasizes
the fairy tales as a way that leads the child to unfold their potential and give meaning to the
world. Fairy tales experienced in childhood help children in their overall development and
stimulate the taste for reading, taking it to be consequently an adult reader. Thus, we should all
be aware of the good that fairy tales are for children's development by allowing them to learn
to deal with emotions and routine of everyday feelings. Storytelling for children is a way to
teach values and contribute to the formation of his personality, act that practiced since the oral
tradition because, based on Ariès (1981) and Zilberman (2003), many centuries ago women
were using this technique as a way to pass on their knowledge to new generations. Thus, this
paper aims to highlight the importance of fairy tales in the formation of readers, with a focus
on literature and the proposed action on projects aimed at implementation of these in the
classroom. |
