This study aims to describe strategies for managing logistics risks in passenger transport
between the cities of Araguaína and Palmas, presenting some risk management measures in
road passenger transport, pointed out in laws, describing some methods and analyzing clear
information that influence companies when making decisions in risky situations. The research
is descriptive, with data collection through a questionnaire answered by managers of companies
that manage the fleet of vehicles that make the line from Araguaína to Palmas. The results show
that the vast majority of companies that manage the road passenger transportation in the line
under study are totally or partially unaware of the laws governing risk management, as well as
the definition of risk. It has also been noted that in some cases drivers are not given correct
instructions or guidance when it comes to risk management in road passenger transport. |
