Companies are increasingly looking for new ways to improve their efficiency in service
activities. One of the mechanisms that can in principle be efficiency models for
companies that imply the cost of their activities is outsourcing services. This study aims
to describe the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing agricultural product fleets in
a logistics and agricultural products company in the city of Tocantinópolis in the state of
Tocantins. The research is a case study with descriptive analysis of the data collected
through an interview with the company management. The results indicate that the
company did not make positive gains with outsourced services of its fleets, having a
clearer perception that with its own fleets the quality of service improves the distribution
of its products. |
