This paper aims to identify and analyze the activities of the basic people management processes
carried out in a wholesale-retail food company in the city of Araguaína. To achieve this goal,
the theoretical framework that underlies the study addressed the activities of the processes of
provision, application, maintenance, development and monitoring of people. The adopted
methodological perspective assumes an exploratory research character using the qualitative
method in the analysis of the collected data. Thus, as the main instrument for data collection,
we used questionnaires with open questions. Analysis of the collected data indicates that the
company performs recruitment and selection activities, job descriptions, all activities of the
people maintenance process, as well as the people development process. However, it would be
interesting for the company to carry out the people integration activity, human resources market
research and all the activities of the people monitoring process |
