This paper presents the analysis and discussion of the results of a survey conducted in spaces of specialized educational services in the model of multifunctional resource rooms, in the city of Maraba, Para State. The research aimed to discuss literacy practices of students with deafness in space AEE/SRM. Data collection procedure applied an intervention project which consisted of a bilingual education plan for students with deafness, applied after documentary research, and other methodological procedures to check how was the language teaching process for the deaf in locus spaces research , as well as after diagnostic evaluation of language development of students. The bilingual teaching plan consisted in a pedagogical practice deaf for language teaching and the results were analyzed and discussed from the perspective of interpretative qualitative approach. The results showed that language teaching for the deaf, organized into teaching units or sequences, as suggested in bilingual teaching plan , developed in stages and different stages teaching of sign language as L1 and Portuguese as L2 , constitutes in fact a bilingual education , and enables the development of language skills of students with deafness, contributing to literacy in first and second language. |
