The supervised curricular internship is of utmost importance for professional training, putting into practice all the learning obtained during graduation. The area of small animal medical clinic was chosen for the internship, which took place from september 14 to november 17, 2021, at the Veterinary Clinic Vida Animal, in Araguaína-TO, under the supervision of veterinarian aline marinho and guidance of professor ana kelen felipe lima. The present work aims at reporting the activities developed along with the casuistics and bringing the description of a particular case. The cases followed up during this period totaled 132 animals, in medical and surgical clinics, of the canine and feline species. This report describes the case of a male dog, neutered, approximately 10 years old, 8.3 kg, that was admitted to the clinic with a history of trauma caused by being run over by a car. After successive exams, multiple fractures of the pelvis and fibula, rupture of the urinary bladder, thrombocytic anaplasmosis and hypertension were diagnosed. This case was fully followed by the trainee since the first attendance, procedures performed and intensive treatment.
