The mandatory supervised curricular internship was carried out with the Center for Studies, Research and Extension in Genetics and Animal Breeding (NAPGEM) and Laboratory of Genetic Improvement of the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Tocantins (LMA-MV-UFT), in the period of January 19th to April 1st, 2021, totaling 400 hours. During this period, several activities related to the sector were carried out, as well as monitoring and training on rural properties, medical-veterinary services aimed at agricultural stores, in addition to assessing the cost-benefit of using commercial products on rural properties. The services extended to the areas of production, consulting, training in the commercial area and collaboration in the execution of experiments on properties. This report describes the activities carried out during the development of the supervised mandatory curricular internship.
