This report seeks to describe the activities performed during the mandatory supervised curricular internship in Veterinary Medicine, which was carried out at the Research and Extension Studies Center in Genetics and Animal Breeding (NAPGEM), in partnership with the company Monta Reproduction Bovina LTDA, which operates mainly in the microregion of Araguaína, north of the state of Tocantins, its main activity in the area of animal reproduction and biotechnologies in cattle. The internship was carried out from September 14 to November 17, 2021, totaling 345 hours, under the supervision of the veterinarian Rodolfo Olinto Rotoli Garcia de Oliveira and guidance from Prof. Dr. Jorge Luís Ferreira. During the internship period, several activities related to reproduction and biotechnology were developed, such as artificial insemination, fixed-time artificial insemination (FTAI), pregnancy diagnosis via rectal palpation and through ultrasound, gynecological evaluations, induction of puberty in females, evaluation and matrix classification, zootechnical and reproductive control of herds, as well as other practices related to the company's activity. The curricular internship is a fundamental didactic tool in complementing the academic training of veterinary medicine, providing practical experiences and experiences of the profession and the professional's dialogue.
