Resumo:
The Supervised Curricular Internship took place at the Veterinary Hospital of Faculdade Dr. Francisco Maeda (HOVET-FAFRAM), in Ituverava- São Paulo, in the area of Small Animal Medical and Surgical Clinic, from January 22 to April 9, 2021 , under the supervision of MV Me. Ricardo Lima Salomão and guidance from Prof. Dr. Ana Paula Coelho Ribeiro. During the internship, 163 animals were monitored, of which 115 were treated in the Medical clinic sector and 48 animals in the surgical clinic sector. The report has a description of the internship location, the activities carried out by the intern, a series of consultations and procedures, a brief bibliographic review on endoscopy, in addition to the report and discussion of a case of removal of foreign bodies through endoscopy in dogs. The 5-month-old animal had dyspnea and cough, from foreign bodies present in the stomach and bronchus, which were successfully removed with the rigid and flexible endoscope.
