Resumo:
The supervised compulsory curricular internship in veterinary medicine was held in the Small Animal Medical Clinic and Small Animal Surgical Clinic, at the University Veterinary Clinic, Federal University of Tocantins, campus Araguaína. The internship occurred during the period from May 11th to July 9th, 2021, with a workload of 8 hours a day, totaling 352 hours, under the supervision of the Veterinary Doctor Thainne Lemos Lira. This work aims to describe the internship location, as well as the sample followed and report the case of a female dog with fetal death uterine rupture and peritonitis, undergoing therapeutic ovary-hysterectomy surgical procedure
